Playgroup to Grade 5. It starts with a morning at school.
This school is easier to see than to describe. Come on an ordinary morning, watch a class at work, and ask us anything. If it feels right, your child spends a morning with us too.
How to Join

Watch a morning at school
Visit Gurukul, on Sus Road, on an ordinary school morning. You’ll see a class at work, not a show put on for visitors. Visits take 45 minutes, with up to three families at a time.
- Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
- 9:30 or 11:00

Talk to us
Sit down with us after the visit. Tell us about your child, and ask anything: how classes are grouped, what a day looks like, transport and the new campus. The founders are in the school every day.
Questions parents ask
A morning for your child
Your child spends a morning in a class with children their age. It helps us see where they are, and it lets them find out whether they like it here.

Your invitation
If it is right for your child, and for us, we invite your family to join.

The Questions Parents Ask Us Most
“With practice, even a slow learner becomes skilled. A rope going up and down a well wears a mark into the stone.”Vrind
Is Cambridge as rigorous as CBSE or ICSE?
Yes. In maths, languages and science it is every bit as demanding, with external exams set to an international standard. It also leaves us free to choose how we teach. Our curriculum is aligned to Cambridge Curriculum.
Will my child be ready for competitive exams?
Aseem’s family has a 50-year legacy of preparing children for India’s toughest entrance exams; here the depth starts in Grade 1. JEE and NEET aren’t our biggest goal, but a child taught this way should reach that level.
Will my child need tuition?
No. Extra help happens inside the school day, with the teacher who knows the gap.
How big are the classes?
Up to 25 in a section, with smaller groups for maths and reading. Projects, sport and workshops run in mixed-age groups, so children learn and compete with a wide circle.
Is it too soft? What about discipline and homework?
No. Children are held to a high standard, and they learn to keep going when nobody is watching. Homework is extra practice, done by the child, never by a parent at the kitchen table.
Isn’t Bhukum a bit far?
It is about 25 minutes from Gurukul and 28 from Neev. Buses run on planned routes, so ride one with us before you decide. What happens in 13,000 hours matters more than a few minutes on the road.
Is Cornerstone Right for Your Family?
Right for you if…
- You want a child who is capable, kind and unafraid, and you care about that more than a rank.
- You think hard work and joy can happen in the same room.
- You’d rather go deep than skim.
- You want your child to do their own work, and own it.
- You’d rather your child build something real than memorise for a test.
- You want the truth about your child.
Maybe not, if…
- Ranks and marks matter more to you than anything else.
- You want a school that prepares only for exams.
- A long checklist matters most: the number of sports, horse riding, a swimming pool.
- Air-conditioned buses and classrooms are a must.
- You’d rather do your child’s projects and homework for them.
- You plan to add tuition after school anyway.
- A slightly longer drive is a deal-breaker.
And that’s okay. We’d rather say so now.
A parent’s view
“Hearing our sons ask, “Why can’t I go to school today?” even on weekends reassures us that choosing Cornerstone was the right decision.”
